F. User Account (Web Account)

1. Through the website www.tennisfactory.gr, users are able to create their own account in order to receive newsletters, personalised information, and updates on all new services, products and offers provided by the COMPANY. To create a personal account, user registration by completing the online registration form is required. Each user is solely responsible for the details they provide, which must be true and accurate. Should the COMPANY ascertain that false details have been provided, it may cancel that user’s registration, including at a later time.

2. Among the details each user must provide when creating their personal account are their full name, e-mail address and telephone number. The e-mail address must be true and complete, personal to each user and under their full control. The e-mail address may be processed by the COMPANY in order to ensure it is correctly recorded.

3. Any natural person who has reached the age of sixteen (16) may create a personal account. Minors under the age of sixteen must have the consent of their parent(s)/guardian(s) in order to create a personal account and use the website.

4. When creating a personal account, each user sets the password they wish to use. By using the e-mail address and password, the personal account can be accessed. These credentials are personal to each visitor/user and must not be disclosed to any third party. Each user is solely responsible for all actions performed using their e-mail address and password and is obliged to notify the COMPANY immediately of any unauthorised use. In any event, the COMPANY bears no liability towards the user for any damage they may suffer.

Each registered user may request the deletion of their account and the destruction of their personal data by submitting a request to the COMPANY at its electronic address via the website www.tennisfactory.gr.

G. General Terms

1. These Terms of Use may be amended without prior notice; therefore visitors/users should regularly visit this website in order to be informed of any amendments to the Terms of Use of the website www.tennisfactory.gr.

2. If the use of any service of the website www.tennisfactory.gr is governed by more specific terms, such terms shall be deemed to form a single whole together with these Terms of Use; however, in the event of conflict, the more specific terms shall prevail.

6.  The validity, performance, interpretation and effects of these Terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Athens have exclusive jurisdiction and competence.

 For the out-of-court settlement of disputes, the consumer may refer to the competent bodies for out-of-court settlement and resolution of disputes, such as the General Secretariat for Consumers of the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness (Kanigos Square, 10181 Athens, www.efpolis.gr), the Consumer Ombudsman (144 Alexandras Avenue, 117 71 Athens, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr), as well as the Committees for Amicable Settlement of consumer disputes at the local Regional Authorities.

H. Sports Services

With regard to sports services made available through our website, specific operating rules may apply. Such specific operating rules are determined exclusively by the COMPANY and are communicated to the user when the relevant service is provided, compliance with which is necessary for the provision of the service in a complete, accurate and proper manner.

Each user who makes use of the services bears responsibility for the suitability of their health condition, namely that it permits them to engage in sporting activity. In the event that, in the context of a tournament, event or other similar activity, the issuance of a medical certificate of fitness for sports is required, the responsibility for obtaining such certificate lies exclusively with the user. Consequently, the COMPANY shall bear no liability in relation to the aforementioned.

A registered user, via the website, may also invite friends who are not registered users of the platform to register on it. Such invitations are sent to e-mail addresses that the user has at their disposal. Please note that the COMPANY has no control over, nor any knowledge of, the contact details (e-mail addresses) that a user has at their disposal and uses for this purpose; therefore, the COMPANY disclaims any liability arising from the accuracy or otherwise of the contact details that the user holds and processes for this specific purpose and/or for any invitation that may be considered unwelcome by the recipient. Furthermore, in any event, the COMPANY reserves the right to exercise any and all of its lawful rights in respect of any unimpeded action of the user concerning the ability to invite friends granted to them via the website.

Through the website, the user may also book a court by entering the requested details, the date, time and their opponent’s details. The provision of the opponent’s personal data by the user presupposes the consent of that person. If a user records an opponent’s details without their consent, the responsibility lies with that user and not with the COMPANY.

In the event of damage, destruction or theft of sports equipment belonging to the COMPANY and used in the course of the provision of its sports service(s), responsibility for such damage, destruction or theft shall lie exclusively with the user (player/team).

I. Gym Area

Use of the Gym Area is at your own risk. Please follow the instructions below to avoid injuries and to ensure the proper operation of the area.

  1. The Gym Area is intended for members over 18 years of age.
    • Minors aged 14–17 may use the area only with the written consent of a guardian and in the presence of a guardian or coach.
    • Use by children under 14 years of age is not permitted.
  2. Use the equipment strictly for the purpose for which it has been designed.
  3. Do not use the area if you have health problems, injuries, or if you have not consulted your doctor.
  4. Use of the area under the influence of alcohol or substances is prohibited.
  5. Always wear appropriate sports clothing and footwear.
  6. Keep the area clean and return the equipment to its place after use.
  7. Use a personal towel on seats and mats.
  8. Do not leave personal belongings in the area. Tennis Factory is not liable for loss or theft.
  9. The use of sharp, heavy or metallic objects that may cause damage to the equipment is prohibited.
  10. Smoking and the consumption of food within the Gym Area are prohibited. Only closed water bottles are permitted.
  11. In the event of dizziness, pain or discomfort, stop exercising immediately.
  12. In the event of malfunction, damage or accident, inform us immediately on +30 21 3023 7580.

Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance

TENNIS FACTORY respects the personal data of every visitor to our website www.tennisfactory.gr. In the text below, we explain how we process the personal data that we collect from you or that you provide to us.

In the context of your registration as a subscriber to our Newsletter, we collect and process the following personal data:

Full Name, Telephone Number, E-mail Address.

 In the context of your completion of the special membership registration form, we collect and process the following personal data:

Full Name, E-mail Address, Address, Telephone Number, Year of Birth, Photograph as well as details required for the issuance of lawful tax documents (Tax Identification Number, Tax Office, professional capacity)

We may also collect information regarding your playing/competitive level so that more balanced “match-ups” with opponents can be arranged.

User details do not appear in public bookings. Users and visitors cannot see who is included in bookings other than their own.

However, user details may appear publicly when they have declared participation in public events or activities, such as a tournament in which the match schedule and results must appear publicly. In such a case, the club may publicly record the full name of a natural person who is not a user of the application, so that their tournament match is correctly displayed.

Photographs and/or videos from sports and other activities will be collected only on condition that you provide your specific written consent each time.

Any absolutely necessary health data that you disclose to us, and which relate to the extension of your membership, will be collected exclusively with your consent.

In the context of your completion of the special participation form for other activities/services provided, we collect and process the following personal data:

Full Name, E-mail Address, Telephone Number

A. Collection and Purposes of Use of Personal Data

Your personal data are obtained exclusively if you voluntarily choose to provide them. The purposes of collection, use and processing of your personal data are your registration as a member, your information about the activities of TENNIS FACTORY, and the sending of the relevant Newsletter or other informational material.

We are permitted to process your personal data for the above purposes on the basis of the law (Article 6(1)(a), Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and, where required, Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). In particular, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the rest of the legislation on the protection of personal data, you retain the following rights in detail:

Right to rectification of your personal data: If you inform us accordingly, we will correct any inaccurate personal data concerning you.

Right to withdraw your consent: You may at any time withdraw your consent to the future processing of your personal data. The lawfulness of the processing of your data up to the time of withdrawal remains unaffected.

TENNIS FACTORY makes every reasonable effort to retain the personal data collected only for the period during which it is necessary to retain such data for the purpose for which they were collected, or until their lawful deletion is requested.

TENNIS FACTORY will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), to resolve disputes and to enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Usage Data are generally retained for a shorter period, unless these data are used to enhance security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obliged to retain such data for longer periods.
